At Campingaz Boutique, we want you to be completely satisfied with your outdoor and camping equipment purchases. If you’re not happy with your order, we offer a straightforward returns and exchanges process.
Our Return Policy
You may return most items within 15 days of receiving your order for a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it
- The item must be in its original packaging with all tags attached
- You must provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
Non-Returnable Items
For health and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Barbecue au charbon (Charcoal barbecues) – due to potential contamination from charcoal use
- Barbecue au gaz (Gas barbecues) – for safety reasons with gas components
- Douche solaire & portable (Solar and portable showers) – hygiene reasons
- Accessoire gaz & réchaud (Gas accessories & stoves) – safety concerns with gas components
- Any items that have been used, assembled, or installed
How to Return an Item
Step 1: Request a Return
To initiate a return or exchange, please contact our customer service team at [email protected] with the following information:

Step 2: Receive Return Instructions
Within 1-2 business days, we’ll email you return instructions including:
- Return authorization number
- Shipping address for returns
- Any special instructions for your specific items
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Pack the item(s) securely in the original packaging and include all accessories. Attach the return label we provide (if applicable) and ship the package to our returns center.
Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product).
Refund Process
When Will I Get My Refund?
Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 3-5 business days of arrival at our warehouse), we’ll process your refund. The timing depends on your payment method:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 5-10 business days after processing
- PayPal: 3-5 business days after processing
We’ll notify you by email when your refund has been processed.
Original Shipping Costs
Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error. For exchanges, we’ll cover the shipping costs for the replacement item.
Exchanges
To exchange an item for a different size, color, or product:
- Follow the return process above to send back the original item
- In your return request, specify the item you’d like to exchange for
- Once we receive your return, we’ll ship the replacement item
If the exchange item costs more than the returned item, you’ll need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and cover all associated shipping costs.
International Returns
For international customers (outside France):
- You are responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service
- Mark the package as « Returned Goods » to avoid customs charges
- Refunds will be issued in the original payment currency
